Halton Hills, ON – The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has launched an investigation following an act of vandalism at a Hindu temple in Georgetown. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, March 30, at the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple on Main Street South.
According to police reports, two male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts were spotted leaving a pub in downtown Georgetown around 1:10 a.m. The pair then proceeded to the temple, where security footage captured them tearing down and damaging a sign at the front of the property.
Authorities have released photos of the suspects and are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying them. The HRPS has not disclosed additional details about the suspects’ appearance or motives at this time.
