The 6th Annual Trucking for a Cure convoy took place successfully on Saturday, October 3rd at the TA Travel Centre, (Hwy 401 Exit 230) in Woodstock. The overwhelming support of sponsors, fleets, drivers, volunteers and organisers helped raise awareness and generous funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF).
The day was packed with fun filled festivities including live music, BBQ and lot of prizes. The driving force battling breast cancer traveled along Hwy 401 in a rainbow of pink ribbons, supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, honoring the taken, and never ever giving up hope!
The event was endorsed and sponsored by industry leaders like Cervus Equipment, Highland Transport, Pride Group Enterprises, OK Tire, Superior Propane, Bruce Outridge Productions, Road Today Media Group amongst many others.
Trucking for a Cure (TFAC) is a support group on behalf of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation-Ontario, which consists of professional men & women in the transportation industry. TFAC not only raises awareness & funds for the CBCF but also builds bridges between commercial drivers, the industry, and the public at large.
