Peel Police dismantle organized auto theft ring in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police have dismantled an organized cargo theft operation, arresting three Brampton men and recovering stolen vehicles valued at approximately $300,000. The investigation, led by the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau, began on July 14, 2025, after officers located a stolen transport truck near Dixie Road and Meyerside Drive in Mississauga.

Further investigation uncovered two additional stolen transport trailers in the area, linked to the suspects. With support from the Aerial Support Unit and K9 Unit, police arrested Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, 42, Harmash Lal Dadra, 44, and Rajwant Singh, 31, all from Brampton. The recovered truck and trailers, along with stolen property valued at $100,000, were seized.

The trio faces multiple charges, including possession of property obtained by crime, theft over $5,000, and possession of break-and-enter instruments. Rajwant Singh also faces two counts of breaching a conditional sentence. All three were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
