Durham Truck & Equipment based in Ajax is opening up a new location in the Peterborough area on Monday, July 20th in order to serve their customers better. Located at 2504 Base Line Road in Otonabee K9J6X9, the new 10,000 sq-ft location will be a parts and service branch, with sales operation continue to be headquartered in Ajax.

The Peterborough location will have about 6-8 staff, parts and service, to start, with a nightshift being added within the next 6 months as necessary. The facility includes a customer waiting area with coffee bar and brand new restroom facilities.

“We already service the area from our Ajax location, so we have an existing footprint in the area.  Being local will allow us to better serve our existing customer base and provide opportunities for growth and expansion of our business and that of the manufacturers we represent.  From a service perspective we were not providing our customers with easy access to routine service procedures and repairs. With 6 bays available in Peterborough, the growing need for a more accessible repair facility will be satisfied,” said Emily Paterson, Vice-President of Operations at Durham Truck & Equipment.
